CoEd Varsity Bowling vs. Forest Hills Eastern HS School

Game Date
Jan 7, 2019

Varsity Boys:

Wayland 13 - Forest Hills Eastern 17.

We knew we had a chance to win tonight, but we just can't seem to get over that hump. After losing the first Baker game by 20 pins, the boys bounced back and took Baker game two by 49 pins. We found ourselves ahead 6-4.

The bottom fell out in game 1 of the individual round. Christian course was the lone man to take his point. We lost another point by only 5 pins. We were behind 12-7 at this point. We could still win but we would have to take 4 of the next 11 points.

Game 2 was so much closer. Senior Christian Courser took his second point of the evening. The next point was lost by just 10 pins, the third point was lost by 12 pins, and the fourth point was lost by 10 pins. Senior Dillon Smith took his point. We won total by just 6 pins so that gave us another 4 points. The score was now just 2 points apart.

We needed to take the grand total of the two games to tie. We didn't. Even though it was a loss, the boys didn't give up and fought to the very end.

Varsity Girls:

Wayland 10 - Forest Hills Eastern 20.

We could have very easily come away with a win tonight. One of the first game individual points was lost by 9 pins and another by just 8 pins.

In the second set, one game was lost by just 4 pins and another by 9 pins.

Michelle Konecny, Lainey Rollandini, Kendra VanKoevering tooks their points in game one. Taking points in game two, was Senior anchor Amber Beggs.
