The Lady Wildcats rocked it at their own challenging course, placing 1st with 34 points.  2nd was Hamilton with 56, 3rd Allegan with 60, 4th Hopkins with 61 and 5th Wyoming with 155.  Fennville, Kelloggsvile and Martin also fielded athletes.  Medalists for Wayland were Rylee Cronkright (1st), Gracie Hasse (5th), Naomi Oosterhouse (6th), Zoe Antel (8th), Haylee Jasinski (16th), Corrina Courser (25th) and Serena VanHouten (26th).  Running season best times were Gracie, Naomi, Corrina, Hannah Damveld, Megan Rose and Mackenzie Alflen.  Running personal best times were Serena and Mackenzie VanderWeide.  The girls will be competing next at the Coach B Invitational at Gun Lake State Park September 10th.

The Wayland boys finished 4th (78pts) tonight, in their own Invitational, behind Allegan (41), Hamilton (42), & Hopkins (73), coming in ahead of Wyoming (129), Martin, and Kelloggsville.  Medalists include: Ian Russell (12), Elijah Gamelin (13), Steven Mosher (20), Jarod Geerligs (24), & Andrew VanBaal (30).  They were followed by Christian Courser (31), Seth Madole (35), Tyler Calkins (45) PR of 32:16, and Andrew Tyner (47).
