The girls cross country team finished second in the Unity Christian Invitational. Holland West Ottawa 19, Wayland 57, Hamilton 80 and Hudsonville Unity Christian 81. Medalists were Rylee Cronkright 2nd and Naomi Oosterhouse 10th.
The Wayland boys' cross country team finished 5th with 134 points behind Jenison (43), Hudsonville Unity Christian (58), Holland West Ottawa (62), and Hamilton (64). Leading the way for the Wildcats were: Elijah Gamelin (21), Steven Mosher (38), and Jarod Geerligs (44).
