The Wayland Wildcats took on the Northview Wildcats on Monday in an OK Gold Conference tennis match at the Northview courts.
While Wayland came up short in the overall match 2-6, Theo Oddy collected his 2nd overall Conference win, taking on the venerable Andrew Hinds at 1st singles. In the end, after a grueling 2nd set, Theo was able to come out ahead, taking the match 6-2, 7-5.
At 4th singles, Jacob VanDuine had to go another 3-set match to collect his 3rd Conference win and improve his conference record to 3-1.
Wayland takes on Grand Rapids West Catholic for their next match on Wednesday at their home courts.
