OTSEGO HIGH SCHOOL: 6
Wayland Varsity Softball won their 26th MHSAA District title in school history, with a 9-6 victory over #9 ranked Otsego. Emma Ludema took the victory on the mound, striking out seven batters. Leading the Wildcats attack was Emma Tornes, going 3-4 in the finals. Kennedy Cole and Kami Morse each had 2 hits. Cole had a triple and a double and Morse added a triple and a single. Kaelyn Sikkema and Emma Ludema, also added singles.
The Wildcats will now take on Coldwater at Otsego on Saturday at 10:00. The finals will be played at 2:00.
