In a back and forth game that saw many ties and lead changes the Wildcats were able to hang in to a double overtime victory against the visiting Hawks of Forest Hills Eastern, 75-70.  The Hawks jumped out to an early 1st quarter lead as Wayland could not find an answer for the Forest Hill Eastern Zone.  The 2nd quarter saw Wayland regain the lead and take a 23-18 point lead.  The Wildcats then extended the led to 12 points 37-25 at the end of the third quarter.  The Hawks then outscored the Wildcats 30-18 in the forth quarter to tie the game up.  In the first overtime there was back and forth scoring.  In the second overtime the Wildcats were able to build a lead and keep it hitting some key free throws down the stretch.  Two players scored in double digits for the Wildcats, Cory Ainsworth had 25 and Ternor Hudson had 22.  Forest Hills Eastern had three players in double digits, Taylor Mitchell had 19, Solomon White had 18, abnd Gage Krueger had 17.
